In this piece, I wanted to evoke the passing of time. I experimented with scrubbing away some of the surface inks and then adding more values back in.

Main Event Sunday February 26th. I chose to donate this piece in honor of this year’s theme: Ebony and Ivory Ball 🖤🤍. Proceeds support cultural and music education programming along the Emerald Coast.

I have a Hoss-sized hole in my heart ❤️‍🩹

I have a Hoss-sized hole in my heart ❤️‍🩹. I think Chief (his best friend and litter mate), keeps looking for him. Our Hoss crossed the rainbow bridge this week, due to an inoperable brain tumor. Gone too soon, Hoss was 7 1/2 years old. He was the smartest cat I have ever seen; fearless, and absolutely loved the camera and being the center of attention. He never turned down snacks or snuggles, either. Anyone who ever met him knows he never did anything halfway! Hoss will always be a legendary creature, and so very loved. Rest In Peace, my Hoss the cat boss - though I’m sure you are actually running around exploring Heaven. 🤍🐈🤍
